@TheKnight: What music files do you mean? I just took track_02.sng from TPR folder and renamed it to *.mp3. For some obscure reason mp3 decoder refuses to play files with other extension nevermind the content ..
Whole menu is work in progress, so far it uses TSK backgrounds with TSK buttons and TSK font style (grey, not orange). I will show some screens but later.

It should be with all the MP3 stuff rather careful, and to inquire about first. Since the MP3 format is not 100% free.

I use TMediaPlayer component which is a part of Windows MMSystem and uses available codecs installed in Windows, thus Remake has nothing to do directly with mp3. This also means that if target PC has no mp3 codecs Remake will not be able to play mp3s.

First of all, I don't know very much about programming like this (only the Basics), but I'm really happy that you have such a good progress. I thank you very much for your work and I wish the project a good future. Is it eventually possible to insert some new buildings in the game? Of course I know that this would be in the far future, but is it still possible? I miss the "Spähturm" or the other Version of the normal tower and the walls, maybe there is still a chance for them. But I don't know, that's why I ask!

Hello Felix,
Indeed, this is a far future. This is all possible programmatically, but we miss most of the graphics (Lookout Tower building steps, Walls/Fences connections, Training hall, etc..)

...and all of these buildings change the gameplay/economie circuit a lot! New buidlings need more time to set up an army and an economy and this could be cause complications in TSK missions (less time for preparing against enemy attacks etc.)!

If you ask me, TSK campaign should have only TSK houses since it was made relying on them. TPR campaign - TPR houses/units. As a rule - all houses should be blocked unless they are explecitely allowed in script. What do you think?

I think you can implement fishers hut, but all other new houses shouldn't be included in TSk campaign!

Firstly Krom I`m so proud that we have such a great users like You. Thank You for Your fantastic work!
If You are interested I can help You do some new graphyx (animations, buttons or anything - I worked very long in that stuff, so I can help) or I can also write some new middle-age songs (I was seven years in Music Studium/academy).
Anyway are You planning to add new buildings (for example that big watchtower with eye-icon from the Alpha version?)

Hello Alanbach, it's great to hear from you, thanks )
So far we are in that stage where we try to mimic KaM close enough. Lot's of coding involved. Yes, there are already new little features for which we have no graphics yet (e.g. SinglePlayer menu buttons). It would be great if you could have a look and give us some help there We could add that watchtower just for fun, but we miss building palletes (building progress). Walls would be cool as well, but we need to invent concept behind them (e.g. how to make spans between tiles, vertical walls, etc..)
If you want to take part in KaM Remake, we (me and Lewin) are looking forward to it

Do you mean what is my role in the game? How much authority do I have?
Krom would be the best one to answer, but I will give you my opinion:
At the end of the day, it is Krom's project. He started it, he did most of the coding and it was his idea. Major decisions will be made by Krom, but he asks for my opinion too.
It is much easier to make a project with more than one person. Krom often asks my opinion on how to structure things, and we bounce ideas off each other. It is also a better motivation. You feel that there is someone who will look at your changes and praise you, which makes it more enjoyable.
As I said before, I have not written as much code as Krom. He is more experienced (and probably quite a lot older) then I am. Even so, I have been able to help here and there. The Remake is basically our hobby, and we are both learning things off each other and getting experience in working on complex projects. (which will be very useful if we get a job programming later in life)
I will be interested to see Krom's response, it might differ from mine.

My answer is almost the same as Lewin did.
Since Lewin joined he's been a great help in areas which I'm not very confident and he knows better. Also it's indeed a huge motivation to work together, not to mention that two heads is always better than one. All in all Lewin might not write as much code as I do, but without him I wouldn't have written it either. To mention, Remake was mostly paused till Lewin joined, but since he joined workflow is just great!

We tried to keep old KaM idea - corresponding houses and units in one row and to include all houses and units, so they fit in default size area.
Some constructive critics are welcome 
P.S. Houses replaced with question marks are those that can't be built yet.
