Thank you all for your patience! After three weeks of tireless work by our beta testers we are finally ready to bring you the 4th Multiplayer Demo. You can find it on the downloads page:

We now have a total of 18 languages supported, with 5 new translations added in this update (Estonian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian). Thank you to all our translators who put so much effort into ensuring the game can be enjoyed by everyone.
A huge thank you to our beta testers, they helped find over 30 bugs! Thanks also to community map makers, because of them this release has 92 multiplayer maps (our first release had just 21).
Major changes:
- AI can build a small village to make food (we haven’t done the military side yet)
- Minimap preview in the lobby showing which player has selected each location
- Player names are colored (plus general support for color coding chat messages)
- Road/field plans appear instantly in multiplayer regardless of network delay (houses coming soon too)
- Smarter deliveries and build queues, now the closest labourer/serf will always take the job
- High quality shadows for units and trees (houses not working yet)
- Support for smaller resolutions (1024×576, 1024×600, 1280×720, etc.)
- Faster loading (should mean less players are dropped due to loading taking too long)
- Smoother speed up
- Archers are a bit less powerful
- 5 new translations: Estonian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian
- 44 new multiplayer maps (92 total)
- Error reporting now uses madExcept which lets you send the crash report to us easily and gives us better information about the crash
- Our master server records which multiplayer maps are played, so we can add features to this site like “top 10 maps list” (coming soon!)

It has been a long, long while since I showed up on the forum. I have been busy, but now the time has come to play KaM again!
I have started playing TSK campaign and enjoyed it very much, till mission 8. Towers miss their target too often I think. At last I just hit F11 and put the light green barbarians in the upper left corner of the map. When they came back to attack, I switched over to player 4 again and let them stand in front of my 7 towers, which they did not survive. When I let them walk, though, my towers did only hit once in 5 shots or so.
Next an more annoying thing: my screen flashes during the game. Sometimes more frequently then other times, but it allways flashes a couple of times. When it flashes, sometimes the game does not repond to keyboard input anymore. I have been playing KaM today for serveral hours, but each time I closed KaM (for a break), it started flipping again. I then restarted KaM till the flashing did not occur too frequently anymore. Sometimes I also had to click serveral times on a building in the build-menu before it became selected.
Further I have to say I really appreciate your work on KaM remake and I plan to eventually make some artwork or help coding in the future, but I am not sure when I will have the time for that exactly. I already have images for walls and have created a color-mapping for the old farm from an early alpha. I also have ideas about new features for KaM, which I will work out sooner or later.
Before I forget: I am running Windows 7 on a laptop with 4GB RAM DDR2 and a 2.0Ghz dual core Pentium. Graphics card: nVidia GeForce 9200M GS.

I'm glad you have solved the mission 8 issues. We haven't enough resources to test the campaigns with towers accuracy changes, but in next version we will make them hit enemies more often.
Concerning the flashes - please update your video drivers and let us know! )

Hey Hype,
Towers miss moving units too often in the latest version r3392. We've made them slightly more accurate at moving targets since then, so see what you think when we release the new version.
